Dougherty Orchards

Dougherty Orchards is located in Cambridge City Indiana. It is one of Indiana's oldest Orchards, having been opened in 1883. It is a family owned and operated business. It is an ideal location to take elementary education children for field trips in the fall, due to the vast number of activities to be found here. At Doughtery, youth can pick their own apples, visit the orchard store, and see animals that range from deer and rabbits, to goats and llamas in the large and diverse petting zoo. Doughtery offers corn mazes and hay rides for younger children, and a haunted maze in the evenings for older children and adults. Reservations and current prices can be made by calling the organization.

Suggested Field Trip Activities
